Parkinson Voice Project is awarding

$650,000 in GRANTS

  • to speech therapy clinics and Parkinson's support groups
    throughout the U.S. that are committed to improving the lives of
    those with Parkinson’s through SPEAK OUT!® & The LOUD Crowd®.

    Grants will be awarded based on individual need and may include the following:

    • • SPEAK OUT!® & LOUD Crowd® Training/Refresher (either in-person or online)
    • • SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Kits, Spanish Materials, and LOUD Crowd® Workbooks
    • • Funding for speech-language pathologists who will lead LOUD Crowd® groups
    • • Airfare and hotel to travel to Texas for onsite training at Parkinson Voice Project
    • • Training on nonprofit management, board development, fundraising, and key business principles for success

    Who Can Apply?

    Parkinson’s support groups and speech therapy clinics within the United States that either currently offer SPEAK OUT!® & The LOUD Crowd® or who want to bring these programs to their areas may apply for a grant. This can include University Speech Clinics, Private Practices, Hospitals, Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinics, and Nonprofit Parkinson’s Organizations, and other medical facilities.

    How To Apply:

    Grant applications will be accepted here January 2, 2018 through March 2, 2018. Grant recipients will be announced April 11, 2018.
