There have been remarkable advances in the treatment for Parkinson’s disease over the past decade.  Although scientists are still searching for a cure to this condition, medications can help control the symptoms.

Attend this session to learn about the different medications available to treat Parkinson’s.  Dr. Pavasia will also discuss new medications that are being investigated and how these treatments are different from what is currently on the market.

• Describe the most common medication used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s.
• Describe how medication management is different for the young onset person with Parkinson’s.
