Medical Office Specialist
Colleen Van Duyne brings her energy and passion for people to Parkinson Voice Project as Operations Assistant. Colleen was born and raised in Richardson, Texas, and attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare and a minor in Sociology. She married her high school sweetheart, began her career working at a non-profit organization, and started a family. Colleen has three children, which she says are her biggest achievement.
After leaving social work to become a full-time mom, Colleen spent her time in volunteer leadership with the PTA and was recognized with the Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership Award. She also volunteered with booster clubs and Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America.
Colleen gradually re-entered the workforce working in medical administration. She ultimately wanted to return to work at a place that was instrumental in helping people and feels blessed to be a part of the Parkinson Voice Project team. When Colleen is not working, she enjoys attending fitness classes, making her handcrafted chocolates, and walking in the park with her dog.
