Denise Kim

Denise grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is currently a graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Program at The University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin. Denise’s passion for serving patients with voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders developed through her experience caring for her grandfather, who had Parkinson’s disease. Accordingly, Denise joined the Parkinson Voice Project Team in the Spring of 2025, with a strong desire to positively influence the lives of patients with Parkinson’s and their families. In her free time, Denise enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, and pottery painting.
