Elana earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UT Austin in 2012 and her Master of Science degree from UT Dallas in 2016. Elana began her career working in pediatrics and specialized in working with children with hearing loss in the public school setting. Elana transitioned to working in adult neurorehabilitation in 2021, where she provided services to patients who suffered from a stroke or traumatic brain injury. Elana is so excited to join Parkinson Voice Project to help people with Parkinson’s and related disorders REGAIN and RETAIN their speech and swallowing!
In her free time, Elana loves spending time with her husband, sweet baby girl, and her crazy fur baby (dog). Time spent with family and friends, locally and across different cities in Texas, fills her heart. She loves decorating baked goods and making fruit babies!
