Sacred Heart University’s Graduate Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Program provides services to community members at no cost. Clients work with graduate student clinicians supervised by certified and licensed speech-language pathologists. Clinicians and graduate students have completed extensive training in the SPEAK OUT! therapy program. In addition, graduate students are enrolled in coursework to further strengthen their knowledge of adult neurological-based communication disorders. Individual and group therapy sessions in SPEAK OUT! are delivered in our SLP lab, and clients can attend sessions in person or online. An opportunity to participate in a research study for Parkinson’s disease is also available. This clinic can treat people with Parkinson’s who live anywhere in Connecticut.
