Aytana grew up in Denver Colorado and moved to Richardson in 2019. She is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. Aytana’s passion for helping individuals with Parkinson’s developed from volunteering in a senior living community visiting patients in the clinic, many of whom had Parkinson’s disease. She saw the impact having Parkinson’s had on the patients and their family’s lives and wanted to do something to make a difference. Aytana joined the Parkinson Voice Project Team in the Spring of 2025, with a passion for helping others communicate and improve their lives.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family including her two dogs and cat. She also loves hiking, rock climbing, and embroidery.
