Aytana joined Parkinson Voice Project in the Spring of 2025. She is an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences.
Her interest in working with individuals with Parkinson’s developed from volunteer experiences in senior living and clinical settings, where she witnessed the impact of communication challenges on patients and their families. She is passionate about helping others communicate more effectively and improve their quality of life.
At Parkinson Voice Project, Aytana supports the organization’s mission of making highly effective, evidence-based speech therapy treatment accessible to people with Parkinson’s worldwide.
