Instead of charging a set fee for this 13-hour continuing education course, our nonprofit uses a Pay It Forward model. SLPs select a Pay It Forward gift ($112, $255, $355, or $450) to help the next SLP become certified.
This is a 13-hour online self-study course offered for 1.3 ASHA Continuing Education Units (CEUs). A strong internet connection with a modern browser is essential.
SLPs must complete the course within 30 days. No extensions will be given.
The course includes SPEAK OUT! efficacy research, evaluation protocol, demonstrations of in-person and virtual individual SPEAK OUT! Therapy and SPEAK OUT! Classes, sample treatment forms, and marketing tips.
This certification course is in English, although the therapy and home practice materials have been translated into several languages. Video closed-captioning is available. Satisfactory completion of this course consists of full attendance and 80% accuracy on the course assessment.
Participants who wish to file a complaint must submit it in writing within 30 days of course completion.
This course will discuss the components of the SPEAK OUT! Therapy Program with limited to no information about like products or services.
