Elena Dorman

MS, CCC-SLP

Elena Dorman joined Parkinson Voice Project as a speech-language pathologist in August 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em!) and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas. After graduate school, Elena worked in a research lab where she studied semantic memory retrieval. She then spent four years working in a neuro-rehabilitation setting, treating individuals post-stroke and traumatic brain injury. She has experience treating cognition, speech, language, and dysphagia. She is excited to help individuals with Parkinson’s regain and retain their speech and swallowing!

In her free time, Elena enjoys spending time with her husband and toddler. She loves hiking and skiing in Colorado.
