Joanne Younes

Global Language & Culture Specialist

Joanne Younes was born and raised in Lebanon. She has lived in the world’s oldest city, Byblos, most of her life and never considered leaving her country, despite everything. Joanne spent a semester abroad in France and graduated with her BA in Modern Languages and Translation in 2020. In November 2021, Joanne came to the United States to visit her family. She is now the Global Language & Culture Specialist at Parkinson Voice Project, and she currently resides in Dallas, TX.

Joanne loves to call her family overseas, hang out with her cousins, and discover Dallas in her spare time. She also enjoys traveling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures, and trying new food!
