Theresa grew up in Richardson, Texas. She double-majored in “Speech Language and Hearing Sciences” and “Child Learning Development,” and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Theresa is also a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. She has a passion for helping adults with Parkinson’s because she recognizes the significant impact and positive results that speech therapy has had not only on patients’ lives but also on their families. Theresa joined Parkinson Voice Project during her undergraduate studies and has remained part of the team as she pursues her Master’s degree! In Theresa’s free time, she is a certified makeup artist and loves spending quality time with friends and family.
