The University of Nevada, Reno’s Claude I. Howard Speech and Hearing Center is housed in the Nell J. Redfield in the University School of Medicine. Our mission is twofold: 1) To provide high quality speech-language pathology and audiology services to the Reno-Sparks and surrounding areas communities and 2) to train graduate student clinicians in speech-language pathology and audiology sufficient for entry into professional practice.
The Claude I. Howard Speech and Hearing Center offers undergraduate and graduate student training and community services for speech, language, swallowing, and hearing assessments and therapy. We provide both in-person and telehealth services. The benefit of online therapy is that any person living in Nevada, Arizona, California, and North Carolina can receive services.
