If you live outside of Texas, we can still help!
Search for a SPEAK OUT! Provider in your area.
Parkinson Voice Project’s speech therapy clinic is located in Richardson, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. The clinic specializes in evaluating and treating people diagnosed with Parkinson’s and related movement disorders. Any patient in Texas can receive SPEAK OUT! from our clinic via online therapy. Unfortunately, due to speech pathology licensing regulations, we are limited to treating patients in Texas.
For those who live outside of Texas, Parkinson Voice Project can help you, too. We have trained speech-language pathologists across the U.S. and abroad. Search for a SPEAK OUT! Provider in your area.
To enhance the SPEAK OUT! therapy patients are receiving at their local clinics, Parkinson Voice Project provides several resources at no cost. We provide a SPEAK OUT! Therapy Workbook to every person with Parkinson’s or related movement disorder who lives in the United States being treated by a SPEAK OUT! Provider. We also provide access to our SPEAK OUT! eLibrary to patients (U.S. and abroad). Patients can also participate in our Online SPEAK OUT! Home Practice Sessions and Online Sing-Alongs. Our goal is to enhance the SPEAK OUT! treatment you are receiving at your local hospital, university, or rehabilitation clinic.

Pay It Forward
In 2008, Parkinson Voice Project stopped charging for its speech therapy services at its clinic in Richardson, Texas. The organization eliminated Medicare and insurance billing. They implemented a Pay It Forward funding model instead. By doing this, no patient has ever been denied treatment due to financial limitations or insurance restrictions. Patients receive all the speech therapy they need. Twice a year, they are given an opportunity to Pay It Forward – make a donation to help someone else with Parkinson’s.
