Gwen Nolan is the Education and Grant Administrator and a Speech-Language Pathologist at Parkinson Voice Project. She graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in Speech Communications and earned an MS in Communication Science and Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania.
Gwen joined Parkinson Voice Project in June of 2020. She has been a practicing clinician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of adult neurogenic speech-language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in acute, rehabilitation, outpatient, skilled nursing, long-term care, home health, and university clinical settings for 19 years. In her role as Education and Grant Administrator, Gwen oversees a robust grant program that aims to train speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology students worldwide to conduct SPEAK OUT! therapy at their clinics and universities. She actively seeks to expand Parkinson Voice Project’s grant program so every person with Parkinson’s in the world has access to effective speech and voice treatment by a SPEAK OUT! Provider. She also acts as a clinical resource for SPEAK OUT! Providers, presents educational offerings, and oversees our SPEAK OUT! Therapy SLP and Student courses.
Gwen is a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist. She treats patients and conducts SPEAK OUT! Groups via teletherapy from Parkinson Voice Project’s clinic in Richardson, Texas.
