Music Director
Marty Koss is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Texas and a Master of Music Degree from East Texas State University. Her instrument of choice is the French horn.
Marty earned a Texas State Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education and thoroughly enjoyed her career as a junior high band director for 11 years. Marty has also been a choir director for All Saints Catholic Church for nearly 40 years and was the Liturgy Director for All Saints Catholic School for 16 years. Marty became the Music Director at Parkinson Voice Project in 2010 and finds joy in helping people with Parkinson’s learn challenging music that strengthens their voices and builds their confidence.
On a personal note, Marty enjoys “road trips,” especially when they involve driving a jeep in the mountains, spending time outdoors, potluck dinners, and sing-alongs with friends.
