Music Program Coordinator
Marty Koss is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Texas and a Master of Music degree from East Texas State University. Her instrument of choice is the French horn. Marty earned a Texas State Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education and thoroughly enjoyed her career as a junior high band director for 11 years. With the adoption of their two sons, she became a full-time mom. Marty has also been a choir director for All Saints Catholic Church for 35 years and was the Liturgy Director for All Saints Catholic School for 16 years.
In 2010, Samantha asked Marty to be the Music Director for the Singing Group at Parkinson Voice Project, and she’s been hooked ever since. She considers it an honor to be part of Parkinson Voice Project’s staff as the Music Program Coordinator and is in awe of the dedication and “can do” spirit of The LOUD Crowd®.
On a personal note, Marty enjoys “road trips,” especially when they involve driving a jeep in the mountains, spending time outdoors, potluck dinners, and sing-alongs with friends.
