The RiteCare Center at Georgia Southern Univerity offers high-quality care for individuals with Parkinson’s disease in our community. Our speech therapy services, conducted by graduate students under licensed speech-language pathologists’ supervision, prioritize utilizing SPEAK OUT!® This method, provided free of charge, focuses on empowering individuals with Parkinson’s to improve their speech and communication abilities. Through rigorous training in SPEAK OUT!®, both our graduate clinicians and supervisors are equipped to deliver effective and compassionate therapy, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Georgia Southern clinic to remove barriers to Parkinson’s speech therapy in Georgia
A Texas nonprofit clinic is collaborating with the RiteCare Center for Communication Disorders at Georgia Southern University to help all Georgians with Parkinson’s Disease have access to high-quality speech treatment. (Richardson, Texas – April 11, 2023)
